Olympus opened its football season this past Friday, with a convincing 45-7 victory over neighboring rival Cottonwood.  The Titans were led by a stifling defense that allowed 70 yards passing and 89 rushing.   Chase Thatcher has been named to the Academic All-State team.  Chase carries a 4.0 grade point and scored a 31 on the ACT.  Chase is a team captain and one of the top linebackers in the state.  He currently holds an offer to play football at the Air Force Academy.   Congratulations to Chase

It is with a heavy heart to let you know of Coach Eric Gunderson’s passing, this past Saturday.  The Olympus community has been blessed with his association for the past 4 years.  A tremendous coach and a better man.  He will be missed.
