Lady Titans Softball Beats Skyline 12-9 in Rivalry Game

Oly and Skyline went head-to-head in difficult, windy conditions Monday afternoon.  The Lady Titans came out on top 12-9.  Gigi Canales went 4-5 with a triple, Ryhlee Rasmussen had two doubles, and Emma Marchant had a 3-run Home Run and threw 12 strikeouts in the win.

Lady Titans beat Judge 12-1 at home

Olympus Softball improved to 8-3 on the season as Gigi Canales went 3-4 and Rhylee Rasmussen ended the game with a walk-off home run for the 12-1 victory in 6 innings.  Emma Marchant fanned 13 batters from the pitcher’s circle.  Tomorrow, Olympus is slated to face region rival, Skyline.

The Titans tied the Jordan Beetdiggers in their final pre-season game.  The Titans scored first when Brando Peterson crossed the ball and Din Huremovic headed it just past the keeper into the goal.  Apparently, the team had worked on this in practice the day before.  A couple of minutes later, Jordan tied the game (1-1) when

Girls Varsity Softball Beats West Jordan 2-1

The Oly Girls beat West Jordan on the road in a nailbiter on Wednesday afternoon. Gigi Canales crushed a home run in the fifth inning which proved to be the game-winning run. Emma Marchant struck out 14 Jaguars, with the last coming in the bottom of the 7th inning and bases loaded.

Boys Tennis wins St. George Tournament

Congratulations to the Boys tennis team who took 1st place in the Stephen Wade Invitation tennis tournament held in St. George this past weekend.   This is the first time Olympus has won the tournament.
