After an approximately 30 minute lightning delay, the match between the Titans and the Leopards got started. Canyon Czapla quickly got Olympus on the scoreboard with a rocket shot from outside the penalty box. Later in the first half the Titans had a PK blocked and would enter half time with a 1-0 lead. After the half time break, East put on the pressure but was unable to score. With about 20 minutes remaining in the game, it started to hail (see photo). A few minutes later, with about 15 minutes remaining in regulation, the referees called the second lightning delay of the match. Both teams and all fans left the field and bleachers and headed inside the school. After waiting for over an hour for the lightning to clear the area, the officials called the game and the Titans were given the win. Their next match is on Tuesday, April 30th at Murray High School at 3:30 pm.
