Multiple Teams · Titans are Now 5-1

Olympus outlasted Kearns in a downpour this past Thursday, to solidify itself in a good position heading into its last 3 games of region.  The following are recaps of the last several games:

Olympus 42 Kearns 34

Turnovers and big plays kept Kearns in a game that was controlled by Olympus.  Ben Bywater had 15 carries for 84 yards and a TD.  Sawyer Pierce added 54 yards and 3 Tds on 12 carries in a very wet homecoming victory.  Olympus is now 5-1, 2-0 in region.  They will face a strong Hillcrest squad in MIdvale on Friday.

Olympus 49 Cyprus 0

After a rough 1st quarter, the Titans blanked the Pirates, 49-0. Sawyer Pierce rushed for two touchdowns and tossed in two more to finish the game with 297 total yards, and 173 passing.  Junior Harrison Creer also threw two touchdown passes.

Olympus 34 Northridge 17

The Titan offense was rolling, as Ben Bywater scored two touchdowns in non-region play.  Twins Cameron and Nate Latu were a dominant force on the defensive side of the ball.

Olympus 10 Davis 17

Olympus failed to convert a 4th down on the goal line at the end of the game.  Five turnovers killed the Titans up in Kaysville.

Olympus 5 Highland 3

In a defensive slug fest, the Titans displayed one of the best defensive performances in recent memory, holding the Rams to under 50 yards of rushing.

Olympus 28 Cottonwood 8

Sawyer Pierce was 14 of 21 passing for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns, as Olympus soundly defeated neighborhood rival Cottonwood in their annual endowment game.
